Energy Exchanges

With knowledge we can tackle even the toughest challenges head-on with skill and determination. With help from fellow community members we can learn from the successes others have had. This is why PAREI started Energy Exchanges. These are inspirational membership meetings where PAREI members get together and exchange ideas and resources that will help each of us plan for our energy futures.

 

            The Energy Exchange consists of many parts, but the most common are:

 

A scheduled presentation(s)

• Member sharing and announcements

• Break-out sessions (ie: solar thermal, energy audit demo, local food buying, alternative transportation)

• Potluck Dinner

 

            PAREI has been hosting Energy Exchanges for over 5 years and averages 6 – 8 meetings annually. The meetings are announced via PAREI’s Membership Updates. By keeping the topics current and including fun activities, PAREI attracts an average of 40 members and friends per Energy Exchange.
